“Every time a woman has an orgasm, the patriarchy cracks.”

Lisa Citore (via sublimesea)

This quote has good intentions I’m sure but…. it’s pretty demeaning to sexually dysfunctional people and/or nonlibidioists (aka me)

^ agreed w comment above (Idk who wrote it) but also, women can and do orgasm when they are being rapeed, sexually abused, violated, coerced, etc. so this is utter bullshit. thanks sex pozzies for yet another uncritical analysis~*~*~

I recognize a lot of myself in that book. it hurts but I’m also glad that I’m on the same page as her now.

I don’t believe that cis straight men “mature slower” than women…I just think that men aren’t constantly burdened and pressured with the idea that they will one day be responsible for another person’s life in the same way women are…so the pressure to be considerate, emotionally accommodating, and understanding the importance of symbiotic and interdependent relationships are lost on them until much later, if ever….
